Chasetown put on a five star show against Daventry. They took the lead after ten minutes when a Jack Langston right footer zipped past James Martin. Langston added his second after 22 minutes, chipping Martin from the edge of the penalty area. It took a further two minutes for Langtson to complete his hatrick with another shot in off the upright. The goal glut continued in the 71st minute when Joey Butlin added his 16th goal of the season with a downward header following a cross out of the fog from Liam Kirton. Jack Langston added his fourth and the Scholars’ fifth with a chip over the keeper taking his season tally to 19 and Chase career total to 94.
