Saturday’s match report vs Coleshill Town has been lifted from the Non League Paper and can be found below. Thanks to Alan Beckett for submitting!
“Daventry snatched a point with a last minute equaliser in a game of very few chances.
In a goalless first half, Coleshill had chances to open the scoring through Isia Marselia, who bought a good save from keeper Keegan Fallows, and Kai Tonge, who shot over when well placed and had a second effort saved.
Coleshill took the lead just after the break when Tonge got sandwiched in the box and the referee awarded a penalty. Tonge scored his 23rd of the season from the spot.
In the last minute, George Ball went past several men before playing in Nat Gosnal-Tyler, who lobbed the ball over Coleshill keeper Paul Hathaway and into the net.”
