Halesowen Town romped to a comfortable away win at Daventry Town in front of the Northamptonshire side’s highest gate of the season, 385.

Nathaniel Kelly nearly opened the scoring with a header that was cleared off the line by Bleu McNeil. The Yeltz’s first came from Kieran Morris, heading in Robbie Bunn’s deep cross.

Jack Bowen stunned the visitors with an excellent equaliser, firing home from the edge of the box.

The turning point came right on half time in favour of the visitors when Ahmed Ali headed another Bunn.

Two goals at the start of the second half from Christopher Lait and Kyle Finn put the game out of sight.

Jack Holmes added a fifth before the goal of the game from substitute Michael Taylor as te powered through the Town defence and slotted home past keeper Callum Cook.
