With neither team in danger of the drop, Town ran out comfortable winners over Yaxley.
George Ball opened the scoring when he picked up on a defensive error and slipped the ball under the advancing keeper on 17 minutes.
Adam Confue dropped a shoulder in the box to beat two defenders before curling the ball home from a tight angle for an excellent second goal on 23 minutes (pictured).
Yaxley had chances to get back into the game, the best falling to Matt Sparrow, however, James Martin was alert to block the shot with his legs.
The visitors started the better in the second half and again the Town stopper kept them at bay and when they did get past him, the bar came to the rescue following Bradley Gothard’s header.
Jack Bowen snatched a third at the end, heading home an excellent Nat Gosnal-Tyler cross.
