Exciting news from the club’s Junior Section!
A few months ago the club met with Birmingham City to discuss a partnership to help create further pathways and opportunities for the children of Daventry Town.
We are very excited to finally get the ball rolling and can announce we are now an AGA partner club with Birmingham City.
What this means is:
• We will have a close working relationship with BCFC & it’s academy.
• Creation of a recruitment network, aid our Player and coach development
• Access to Academy Training sessions & coach development sessions hosted by BCFC to help our player development
• Provide a pathway for players to be considered at the academy. For successful players it will provide a pathway to realising their potential within the game.
• In addition members of the club will be able to utilise the BCFC ticket scheme which will give access to reduced ticket prices for matches and help us raise funds also.  Details of this will be announced in due course.
If you would like to know more about this, please drop a mail to Junior Chairman Nathan Turnbull – nathan.turnbull@dtfc.co.uk
Note: “Daventry Town is a proud associate of the Birmingham City Football Academy assisting in the recruitment of elite players through its own programme. Whilst we work in co-operation, we are a separate entity and are not operated by Birmingham City Football Club. Daventry Town policies, procedures and views are explicitly our own and are in no way endorsed by Birmingham City Football Club.”
