HISTON TOWN 2 DAVENTRY TOWN 4

HISTON TOWN 2 DAVENTRY TOWN 4
Daventry Town had an excellent away win on Tuesday night at Histon with the score less reflective of the performance.
The Purple Army were excellent and ran in to a 3 nil lead with goals from Luke Emery, Taylor Orosz and Jack Bowen before Histon pulled one back via Josh Dawkin to make it 3-1 at Half Time.
In the second half there was more of the same as Daventry continued to be on top, with Jack Bowen again scoring to make it 4-1.  A late consolation for Histon by Evan Key wasn’t enough as Town moved up into 5th place in the formative league table.
