A poor game saw Daventry slip to a defeat on the road against Soham Town Rangers last night.
Sam Mulready’s fierce strike just after half time gave keeper Iustin Cerga no chance, and was the highlight as both sides struggled in front of goal.
Daventry came closest towards the end of the first half when Luke Emery shot just wide after good work from George Ball.
Soham finished the game with 10 men after Erkan Okay was sent off with 5 minutes remaining picking up a second yellow after a foul on Archie Elmore.
Daventry had a the majority of possession in the the last few minutes, but the chance to equalise did not come.
